Our Mission
The American Preemie Foundation's mission is to make sure families are able to survive the costs associated with a preemie's hospital stay. We don't just provide funds for hospital bills, we provide funds to cover the everyday expenses that aren't covered by insurance.
Ways You Can Help

Your Donations Will:
- Help families afford the gas needed to drive to and from the hospital.
- Provide temporary housing to families who must stay close to the hospital.
- Provide daycare for any siblings that must stay home while their parents are with their preemie.
- Give families peace of mind knowing that their next electric bill or grocery bill will be paid.

Our goal is to ensure that families with preemies in the hospital are able to meet their daily demands so they can focus all of their energy on their preemie.

The American Preemie Foundation was founded to help families caring for premature babies. Preemies are so courageous at such a young age. They haven’t had one easy day in their short lives, and neither have their parents. We understand how stressful it is to care for preemies both emotionally and financially. Our organization raises money to provide financial assistance to families that are struggling with hospital and household bills. Parents of preemies face many challenges, and many don’t have the means to run a household and pay months of hospital bills. These families have faced struggles literally from day one. Any help that we can provide will make their journey that much easier.
Babies have that sixth sense, and they know when people around them are stressed. That makes them stressed also. Preemies need to be as calm and comfortable as possible, so those around them should try to be as stress-free as possible. As we all know, finances take their toll on everyone, but it’s especially important for parents of preemies to not have anything additional to worry about. The American Preemie Foundation is designed to make parents’ lives a little easier so they can send happy, stress-free thoughts to their preemies.
American Preemie Foundation, Inc is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation. As such, all donations made to American Preemie Foundation, Inc are tax deductible. The American Preemie Foundation does not receive any funding from government sources and relies solely on private donations. All proceeds will benefit families with preemies.
